Saul Goodspeed is the most famous quarterback in New Jack City's history, leading the team to three consecutive world championships!

During one fateful playoff game, Goodspeed rushed the other team's defensive line to score the game-winning touchdown. As he began his signature victory dance, he turned around to face the opposing team. To his surprise, he found them battered and bruised with all their teeth knocked out! Saul was so upset by this that he immediately quit football and decided to become a dentist.

On the eve of Saul's final dentistry exam, he began having second thoughts. He escaped to the roof of his school for a breath of fresh air. While considering his future, a freakish runner rushed by him and soared right off the rooftop!
